Stina Persson artist research

This is an image by Stina Persson. It is a portrait which has then been edited to looks as if it were painted. I think this image is interesting because the colours used to cover the portrait can be used to portray different emotions and on the image above the darker purple and red colours along with the expression on the models face suggest that the person in the portrait is sad. 

Julian Wolkenstein artist research

This is an image by Julian Wolkenstein. For the image on the left one side of the models face has been mirrored and copied to to the other side to create the effect of a completely symmetrical face then the same has been done for the image on the right but using the other side of her face. I really like this image because I think it is interesting to look at as it shows how different each side of a persons face can be and how they would look if their face was perfectly symmetrical.
